What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, but don’t let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom from conception through Kindergarten.
MOPS is a grass roots movement that believes moms are world influencers. That’s why we connect moms to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of mother-hood.
MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. We are moms and we believe that better moms make a better world.
We are the Starry Eyed MOPS 2016-2017 Theme
Starry Eyed means looking for the light even when darkness is enveloping. It is an opportunity to hope recklessly and to witness God’s presence guiding things seen, comfortable and uncomfortable.
When we reflect back over our lives, this year s going to stand out. It will be the year that we decide to live fully by both sunlight and moonlight. Because audacity is rising in the deepest and wildest parts of our souls. And the best part is, we will experience it all together.
So ask yourself: When was the last time you felt fully alive? The last time you were so swept up with wonder that it took your breath away? That kindness made you feel powerful? This is the year to experience all of it. Because we are the Starry Eyed.
What to Expect
We can’t meet without food and coffee! Light snacks, coffee and water will be provided. Have a treat you would like to share with everyone? Bring it!
Each meeting will have a topic to discuss through a live speaker or video provided by MOPS International. Afterwards table discussions help go deeper in topics.
Local mommy friends to talk to, laugh with, share advice with and relate to. You are not alone in this journey of motherhood.
Fun, easy, artsy crafts and activities for the least crafty of all of us.
Welcoming to All Women
We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. And the beauty of it is that we don't all have to agree with one another but everyone is in and we all need each other.

October 11 & 25
November 8 & 22
January 10 & 24
February 14 & 28

If St. Paul Preschool is closed for weather or having a delay, we will not meet.
Look, we all love our kids, but let's be honest: a little break now and then makes us want to be with them even more. We provide a preschool style experience for you kiddos that they will love going back to.
During meeting your little ones will be cared for by amazing MOPPETS workers in the church nursery. They even have their own MOPPETS curriculum to learn.
What are the membership fees?
St. Paul Lutheran Church sponsors our group eliminating additional dues for you to attend. We encourage you to join MOPS international for the fee of $24.95 per year.
Becoming a MOPS Member allows you to participate in a movement that is helping women all around the world become not only great moms, but also leaders in their communities. When moms are well equipped, they can support and encourage one another. Being a mom might be the hardest job you’ll ever have, but we bet that it’s the best one too! Sometimes you just need a safe space to breathe, get much needed encouragement and share some yummy snacks.
