St. Paul Music Ministry
If you've been considering involvement with St. Paul's music program, we hope that that now is the time! If you have been involved in the past, we hope that you plan to return! It's not necessary to be a St. Paul member to join these groups, so bring a friend! Details for individual groups are below; please remember that it's a huge help if you'll RSVP with your name AND which group(s) you plan to join! Child care is available during choir rehearsals, but ONLY if you request it ahead of time. Still have questions after reading all the info? Ask away! Email or call Cherie Warner at 734.676.1565 ext 105 or Kim Schutt at 734.676.2942.
Worship Choir will sing for worship services two weekends per month. We will rehearse on the Thursday prior to the scheduled-to-sing weekend, so you can sing when your schedule permits! No auditions, anyone (member or non-member) 9th grade or older is welcome! Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 6:45 beginning September 28. Free child care is available if you request in advance: call Cherie Warner to make arrangements.
Concert Choir will begin preparing music for the annual Christmas concerts. This year, the concerts are scheduled for December 8-10. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 beginning September 21. No auditions required, anyone (member or non-member) 9th grade or older is welcome, but we do ask that you call ahead (734.676.1565) so we can have music ready for you! Free child care is available if you request in advance: call Cherié Warner to make arrangements.
Praise Teams are singers, guitarists, and drummers who lead our “Praise Worship.”
Instruments of Praise
If you’re an instrumentalist, we've got a spot for you as well! Call Kim Schutt, 734.676.2942 or email Cherié Warner at cwarner@SPLConline.com and let us know what you play … we’d love to be able to revive the Instruments of Praise group!
Bells of Praise
The hand bell choir can always use new members, as well! This group rehearses on Monday evenings, and you can get further information from the director, Karen Weinschenker, at 734.671.8986.
