Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at St. Paul exists to help students grow in their relationship with Christ. We provide many different types of events and programs throughout the year to meet students where ever they are at in their faith walk. Everything from a day at Cedar Point to a week-long mission trip—there is something for everyone and we always encourage students to bring their friends. We also have weekly Bible Study options for those who want to go a step deeper. If you would like more information email Pastor Koschmann at NKoschman@SPLConline.com.

From the Youth Pastor

Summer is fast approaching (actually it feels like it’s already here). One of my goals over the summer is to begin integrating the newly confirmed eighth graders into the High School Youth Group. I also want to reconnect with the high schoolers who have fallen out of touch during the school year. We take a break from our regular youth nights and have other activities instead. I recently met with some of my volunteers and we planned out this summer schedule (as well as a few events before the school year ends).

Here they are…

  • April 12-13 – Lock-In
  • May 20 – Lazer Tag
  • June 20 – Pool Party
  • June 27 – Video Scavenger Hunt
  • July 11 – Slurpee Hunt
  • July 18 – Cedar Point
  • July 25 – Bonfire at PK’s House
  • August 1-2 – Campout
  • August 8 – Pool Party
  • August 15 – Sportway
  • August 23 – Tigers Game
  • August 29 – Bonfire at PK’s House

Of course, all of these dates and activities are subject to change. We also need your help as parents. Some of these activities will require additional parents to help drive and supervise. Perhaps this summer can not only be an opportunity for your child to get reconnected with our Youth Ministry, but for you to as well.

I also ask that you would encourage your child to attend these events. If your child is already active in our Youth Ministry, encourage them to invite their friends. This should be a really exciting summer and I’m glad that we already have so much on the schedule.

God’s Blessings,

-PK
