Support Groups
Alzheimer's Support
Support groups provide an opportunity for family members, friends, caregivers, and other interested individuals to meet regularly for mutual emotional support and to exchange coping skills with one another in matters relating to Alzheimer's disease. Please join us at St. Paul Lutheran Church for an Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Support Group. The group meets the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.
From Grief to New Hope
Dealing with the death of a loved one and learning how to go on can be difficult and overwhelming. Because St. Paul Lutheran Church believes in the value of grief support, we will be sponsoring a workshop entitled From Grief to New Hope, September through October. The workshop runs for eight consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. Each session begins with an informative talk about a particular aspect of the grief process followed by an opportunity to participate in a small group to process the information.
